We classify the garden as a community garden because its produce goes towards community organizations. However, it is on private property, and not open for public visits. Somewhere in sugar house is about as specific as we can get.

You’re so right! I’ve actually been planning a post to clarify that purslane is edible as is, but amaranth is an edible grain.

The top photo is of purslane, not amaranth!
