Last Sunday we had a Salsa Party in a backyard near our garden, to show all our librarian pals what we’ve been up to AND show off our salsa-making skills.
We took not one but TWO tours of the garden, and everyone who wanted got produce to take home. It was satisfying to be able to share what we’d accomplished, and we all agreed that working in the garden has meant so much to each of us–salvation, peace, comfort, sustenance…
Happiness is a garden with friends.
